Hotel Granduca + Bar Remi
The reimagining of Hotel Granduca captures the soul of a European boutique hotel, evoking the warmth and timelessness of an old Italian villa, layered with character and a distinct sense of place. Rooted in authenticity, the design draws from reclaimed architectural elements—antique Italian beams, stone, tiles, and woodwork—to create a richly textured canvas that invites eclectic, meaningful moments of gathering throughout the property.
Upon entry, the lobby sets the tone for the experience to come: a velvet tête-à-tête anchors the space, where stone flooring, soft plaster walls, and terracotta accents speak to contemporary classicism. A curated mix of antique furniture, modern fixtures, and striking photography offers a setting that feels both storied and current.
At the heart of the transformation is Remi Restaurant and Bar, where a spirit of storytelling guides every detail. Inspired by the bold women in David Yarrow’s photography, the space features gleaming brass barstools, terracotta-toned leather, and cozy banquettes designed for celebratory toasts and intimate dinners.
The Library offers a more contemplative escape with indigo plaster walls, velvet pillows, and an extensive collection of vintage books and artwork—ideal for coffee, cocktails, or a quiet game of chess. In the courtyard, alfresco dining is elevated by an 18th-century Tuscan trough turned fountain, framed by wrought-iron bistro furniture and plush striped cushions. This nostalgic terrace invites guests to linger poolside in an atmosphere both relaxed and refined.
